Old Settlers' Reunion

Friday, October 12

Annual Cedar Hill gathering prelude to Country Day on the Hill

In 1937 a small band of Cedar Hill residents gathered on the Old Town Square to fellowship and renew old friendships.  As the years passed more and more folks returned in October for what became known as the Old Settlers' Reunion.  Today that event has grown into what we call Country Day on the Hill.  But the settlers still gather on the square on Friday BINGO, prizes, live musical entertainment, a light supper and the crowning of the King and Queen of the Hill.  Dinner is $5 for adults, $3 for children under 12, with proceeds benefitting local area charities.
