City Center Advisory Committee
March 23, 2010:
City Council reviewed the final version of the City Center Plan , and adopted a resolution establishing a vision, goals and strategies to promote a transit-oriented development in the City Center.
February 9, 2010:
The Consultants provided a presentation along with a draft of the City Center Plan to City Council for their review for comment. |

January 21, 2010: City Center Advisory Committee Meeting
The Committee reviewed the City Center Concept Plan . This report includes a summary of all analysis done to date, including the Cedar Hill Opportunity; Vision, Goals & Concept Diagram: Concept Plans; and Implementation Strategies. December 10, 2009: City Center Advisory Committee Meeting
To help identify a preferred station location, a pro and con analysis was conducted using the City Center Vision, Goals and Objectives, the Comprehensive Plan goals, and the technical station requirements. A
Pros and Cons Analysis Chart was prepared for each location as means to show both the benefits and drawbacks of each site. The Committee debated the pros and cons of each location. Additionally, the Committe reviewed the

eptember 3, 2009: City Center Advisory Committee Meeting
In a workshop format, a meeting was held on Thursday, September 3rd, to obtain input on draft
goals and objectives along with a
concept diagram for the transit station area planned for Downtown Cedar Hill. There was an opportunity for the TOD Advisory Committee to make comment and ask questions during the meeting. The powerpoint presentation shown at this meeting can be found

August 20, 2009: City Center Advisory Committee Meeting
At the first meeting of the TOD Advisory Committee reviewed the boundaries of the study area. Then they began to identify and prioritize issues in the downtown/uptown area of Cedar Hill. Specifically, the Committee concentrated their efforts on identifying opportunities and constraints in the area. Finally, they defined features at other stations they would like to see in Cedar Hill. The Committee
The Committee is charged with preparing a framework for future direction of developmentof the City Center. Members of the City Center Advisory Committee will develop a vision statement; goals and objectives for the City Center based on background reports, the committee member's own knowledge of the community issues, interests and concerns expressed by the organization they represent and public input.
